Brian Hutton earned his Sixth Year Diploma in Educational Leadership at Quinnipiac University. He earned his Master of Science in Music Education degree with a conducting emphasis from Central Connecticut State University. In addition he earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from the Hartt School, University of Hartford. He has performed with the Connecticut Symphonic Band in Stratford, CT and with the CCSU Wind Ensemble, The Counterpoint Big Band, and the Vintage Brass Ensemble. Brian has studied trumpet with Paul Sundberg, Roger Murtha, and Allan Dean. In addition he has studied conducting with J. Thomas Seddon, IV. Professionally, Brian has served on faculties in middle schools in New Haven and North Haven, CT. He currently is the President of the Connecticut Music Educators Association (CMEA)
